50% OF HEAD INJURIES GO UNDETECTED

Are you taking all necessary measures to guarantee your child's safety?

Hits Are Going To Happen

An estimated 1.6 to 3.8 million sports-related concussions occur each year in the United States alone.

And Concussions Aren't Always Obvious

90% of diagnosed head injuries do not involve a loss of consciousness.

Serious Long-Term Effects

Multiple concussions increase risk for depression, cognitive impairment, and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

Boys and Girls Are At Risk

Studies show that the overall concussion rate was higher for boys, but the rate of symptoms and recovery time was worse for girls.

TOZUDA HEAD IMPACT INDICATOR

Focus on the next play, not the last hit. Attach an indicator to the back of your helmet and be alerted when a hit is hard enough to require medical attention.

Mechanical Design

With a completely mechanical build, there's no need to fiddle with digital elements. No wifi, no Bluetooth, no charging; just attach a sensor to your existing helmet and you're ready to go.

Detection Without Question

If an impact is forceful enough to cause potential injury, the sensor will change from clear to red.

"If it's red, check your head!"

Lab & Field Tested

Our Indicators are thoroughly crafted to withstand a certain threshold and tested for accuracy.

Sophisticated & Functional

For sports requiring specific attire, we designed a sleek indicator cover that easily attaches and blends in with your helmet so you can focus on the job at hand without having to worry about the details.

PROUDLY FEATURED ON

HOW IT WORKS

1. Attach & Go

Each indicator is attached with top of the line double sided tape, making it easy to attach to any helmet.

2. Monitor for Detection

Our indicators turn from clear to red when your child is hit with too much force. This only happens when a hit is potentially dangerous.

3. Know At a Glance

If you see red, this signals your child should be evaluated by a medical professional. Just remember, "If it's red, check your head!"

Frequently asked questions

Have questions? We're here to help.

WHAT ARE IMPACT INDICATORS? WHAT ARE THEY DESIGNED TO DO?

Impact Indicators are devices that alert a participant or bystander when someone has been hit too hard during their activity. Tozuda's Impact Indicator can attach to any type of helmet with only double-sided tape.

Impact Indicators are NOT designed to detect or prevent concussions. Impact Indicators are designed to detect or react to linear and rotational accelerations that the head may undergo. When a dangerous threshold has been reached, users and/or bystanders are alerted through the indication of the Impact Indicator when it turns colors from clear to red.

If there is any indication that a head injury has occurred, seek medical attention as soon as possible. Only a licensed medical professional can legally and properly diagnose a concussion.

WHAT MAKES TOZUDA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER IMPACT INDICATORS?

While there are other impact indicators on the market, Tozuda beats them all with its patented mechanical technology that allows for no electronics and an instantaneous indication, while being user-friendly and affordable.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Once you purchase and receive an indicator, carefully remove it from the packaging, peel the sticker off the tape and place it on the back of your helmet.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME?

For orders with less than 48 units, processing time can take 3-5 business days and shipping can take an additional 2-7 business days.

ARE IMPACT INDICATORS ONE TIME USE OR REUSABLE?

Once the indicator activates, it is no longer usable, it has to be replaced.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY INDICATOR ACTIVATES DURING SHIPPING? IS THERE A WARRANTY?

See our Policies for more information.

HOW LONG DOES AN INDICATOR LAST IF IT HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED?

If an indicator has not been activated, then it can last for up to two years!

CAN I DONATE INDICATORS TO A TEAM OR LEAGUE?

Yes! We offer sponsorship programs where you can help to outfit a local sports team with indicators. For information about sponsorship opportunities, get in touch with us at sales@tozuda.com

WHAT IS AN "ACTIVATION" OR "TRIGGER"?

When you first receive your indicator, the spring should be in a straight alignment. The indicator is activated if there is any displacement to the ball-and-spring system.

When activated the middle chamber will begin to fill with red color. Any concentration of red color in this chamber signifies an activation."
