Returns and Warranties Policy

Tozuda's Returns/Warranty Policies:


At Tozuda, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes things don't work out, and that's why we have a clear return policy in place. Please read the following information carefully before requesting your order to be refunded.


You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your Indicator. All the communications related to refund and replacement issues are going to be through support@tozuda.com.


Due to the nature of the Tozuda Head Impact Indicator, it can activate after hard impacts. These impacts can happen during shipping or even mishandling of the Indicator. We urge you to be careful when handling the Indicator by itself or when it is on a helmet not in use. For additional safety, you can purchase Tozuda’s Warranty which will cover free replacements for your Tozuda Indicator for as long as your Warranty is applicable. Returns and Replacements:

Shipping:

If the product was mishandled during shipping and your indicator was activated by the time you opened your product, please proceed to follow the next steps:

Make sure you are within 30 days from the date of delivery.

  1. We offer a one-time replacement for a free Tozuda Head Impact Indicator for activations during shipping if you send an e-mail to support@tozuda.com with the following information:
    • Order Number
    • Pictures of the activated indicator in original packaging where support can see the serial numbers right below the Tozuda logo (starting with V2-RC8-XXXX).
    • Indicate that you are looking for a replacement because of activation during shipping
    • The Indicator does not need to be returned to Tozuda as long as you provide sufficient evidence that the Indicator is still in original packaging
    • Customer Support will send you an e-mail to make sure your replacement is placed and you should receive an e-mail with the new shipping information
    • Without sufficient evidence that the Indicator has not been used, Tozuda is not liable for providing a replacement or a refund.
  2. We offer a refund, and you need to send an e-mail to support@tozuda.com with the following information:
    • Order Number
    • Pictures of the activated indicator in original packaging where support can see the serial numbers right below the Tozuda logo (starting with V2-RC8-XXXX).
    • Indicate that you are looking for a refund because of activation during shipping
    • Once we receive your refund order, our support team will send a shipping label for the order to be returned
    • Once Tozuda receives the order, we will proceed to refund.
    • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to us.
    • **Without sufficient evidence that the Indicator has not been used, Tozuda is not liable for providing a replacement or a refund.**

Changed your mind:

If you want to return a product for any reason, you have 30 days from the order date to do so. The product must be in its original packaging with the original tape unused. We will not process a refund until we have received and inspected the product. **Without sufficient evidence that the Indicator has not been used, Tozuda is not liable for providing a refund.**

Shipping Label Costs:

  • If the order was under $75, the customer will have to pay for the shipping label, but if they purchase the label through Tozuda, we will refund the initial shipping fee paid with the initial order. Therefore you would only be responsible for the difference in shipping label costs.
  • If the order was above $75, the customer will have to pay for the shipping label themselves.

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  • Send an e-mail to support@tozuda.com with the following information:
    • Order Number
    • Indicate that you are looking for a refund
    • Once we receive your refund issue, our support team will send a shipping label for the order to be returned.
    • Once Tozuda receives the order, we will proceed to refund within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to us.

Overall:

If the product was activated during shipping and it has been more than 30 days, we will not offer a refund. The product must be in its original packaging, and if it has been in use, we will not offer a refund. We suggest that customers purchase a warranty for their product (*link to warranties). This will protect the product from damage and ensure the customer's satisfaction, no matter what happens.

Please allow at least two business days for processing of any returns, refunds or replacements (Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm EST).

Or buy it within 30 days of your Head Impact Indicator purchase on our website at www.tozuda.com and navigate to Shop > TozudaCare and choose what level of protection you would like to purchase.

If you purchase TozudaCare, you will have free replacement Head Impact Indicators (up to a certain maximum replacement number depending on your warranty period length) during your warranty period. If you exceed this number, you will be charged for your next Indicator replacement. Without purchasing Tozuda’s Warranty, you will be unable to receive a replacement Indicator for any reason (besides 1 replacement if it activates during shipping, for more information on this see Returns and Replacements Policies).

If you purchase TozudaCare, you will have free replacement Head Impact Indicators (up to a certain maximum replacement number depending on your warranty period length) during your warranty period.
